Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
This policy explains how MarinasOnSite (“we,” “us”), based in Eagle, Idaho, collects, uses and shares information when you visit marinasonsite.com. It covers this public website. The MarinasOnSite application at app.marinasonsite.com, which marinas use to manage their slips, boaters and staff, is described briefly below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a walkthrough, email us, or use a calculator’s “copy my results” button, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, marina name and phone number. Walkthrough bookings are handled through Google Calendar’s booking page and are subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours receives standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Our web host keeps server logs, and our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
Calculator inputs. The numbers you type into our free tools are calculated in your browser. We don’t store them unless you send them to us.
Cookies and visitor identification
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how people find and use this site, and to learn which businesses are interested in MarinasOnSite.
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work as expected if you do.

Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, such as our web host, Google (fonts and calendar booking), and the visitor-identification and data partners described above. They may use information as described in their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
The MarinasOnSite app
When a marina uses MarinasOnSite, we process its boater, slip and staff records on that marina’s behalf. Each marina’s data is visible to that marina’s own administrators and to MarinasOnSite support when needed to help them. Visitor-identification tools on this website do not run inside the app. If you are a boater with a question about your records, please contact your marina first.
